Beyonce Pregnant...

Singer Beyonce Knowles and her rapper husband Jay-Z are expecting their first child, Us Weekly magazine reports.

According to the magazine, the 29-year-old was surprised to learn she is in her first trimester of the pregnancy. She had wanted to finish another album but is overjoyed by the news, the magazine says.

One of the music world's most influential and wealthy couples, Beyonce and Jay-Z, 40, were married in secret in New York in 2008.

The rapper is set to release a memoir in November called Decoded, while Beyonce earlier this year completed a world tour promoting her 2008 hit album, I Am...Sasha Fierce.
